Elaboración y aprobación de la Política Nacional para la Protección de Especies Amenazadas - 2005 … (Línea Estratégica orientada al desarrollo de acciones sobre especies exóticas invasoras, que dañen especies amenazadas o sus ecosistemas) • Elaboración de proyecto FMAM/PNUMA/GIPS: fase PDF B, que apunta a generar un programa nacional integrado para el control de EEI y desarrollo de un Proyecto Piloto en una zona del país.

Desafíos y Propuestas Nacionales y su Relación con la Red I 3 N • Constituir un Grupo de Trabajo Técnico Nacional que aglutine a organismos competentes y proveedores de datos en I 3 N (nacionales y regionales). • Identificación de proveedores de datos nacionales y regionales. • Instalar capacidades para la constitución de la Red Nacional de Especies Invasoras, en términos orgánicos, técnicos y en cuanto a la plataforma técnica e informática, para el almacenamiento e intercambio de información al nivel nacional y con los demás miembros de la Red IABIN. • Alcance: lo anterior, será tratado en el marco de las próximas sesiones ordinarias del Comité de Especies Invasoras y se llegará a un acuerdo de cómo capitalizar los aprendizajes, resultados y propuestas del Taller de Capacitación antes mencionado, como la operación y manejo de la base de datos I 3 N, entre otros.
