If we speak about humanitarian activity of the League of Nations, I consider that it is one of the major aspects of the activity of the international organization. After its creation such documents as the Declaration of human rights started to operate at the international level.

AIM The aim of the work is to analyze humanitarian activity of the League of Nations and to show achievements in this sphere. Lessons and experience of the League of Nations were used when the United Nations Organization was created.

CONCLUSION The fact of creation of the constant international organization of general-political character with constantly operating device was a very important event.
