How Coffee is Made?
People pick up coffee berries. The berries are picked up from trees.
Coffee beans are removed from coffee berries. People or machines usually remove them.
The beans are dried on the sun or they are washed. To wash the beans is a more modern technique than to dry them. Drying processing Wet processing
The beans are sorted and some of the them are thrown out. The farmers may throw out the bad ones while they sort them.
Then the beans are put in bags. The workers can put bags on different ships from where they are shipped everywhere.
The final part is to roast the beans. The longer they are roasted the more caffeine is removed.
Coffee beans are shipped all around the world. People ship it from Africa or South America.
