Cert for LA Ø Entrance Requirements § pass in 5 HKCEE subjects, including English (& Chinese)or equivalent Ø September - June Ø Further Study: Dip LIS/BA (LIS)

Higher Diploma for Library & Information Studies Ø a full-time course for F. 5 & F. 7 graduates Ø under the SPACE Community College Ø vocational, para-professional training Ø library and information support staff in libraries, information agencies and organizations, etc. Ø Further Study: § BA (LIS)

HD for LIS Ø A 3 -year programme: § Certificate/ Advanced Certificate/ Higher Diploma Ø Subjects: § § § library and information studies subjects IT subjects Practical, site visits, and work placement generic subjects electives

Diploma in Teacher Librarianship Ø to provide school librarians with the professional knowledge and skills on: § library and information science § analyzing information needs for teachers and learners § the use of information and learning resource according to curriculum objectives
