Hello, I want to tell you about our practice
The practice lasted for six Days: from the first of September till 7 -th of September
On the first of September our group went to school with the first-grade pupils
Our practice was passive - we only observed analyzed the lessons
Also we characterized one pupil in the class
We visited fourteen lessons, such as Music lessons, Mathematics, Reading, Writing and others.
Also we saw celebration of the Day of Knowledge
We visited school museum and other interesting activities with our class.
The teacher turned to the children by their names. Every child had a special name badge on their clothes
The teacher used oral exercises such as tongue twister, puzzles, conversations and others
Also the teacher used written exercises. Pupils circled the contour of the shapes and painted over them.
Teacher used simple exercises and also different games
For some children teacher used individual exercises
In some situations children were quite and calm, but in other situations they were noisy and nervous
Before the lessons children did their morning exercises
Then they had different lessons: Mathematics, Physical Education, Music lessons, Nature-study and other activities
Between the lessons pupils had intervals, when they played different games together
During the first school week children learned a lot: they learned how to walk in pairs, discover all school rules and other necessary things.
I think the practice was useful because now we know what to do with children during the first week of September
