How Do We Lay Aside These Weights? • Look to the AUTHOR and FINISHER – His example (He. 12: 2) • • For the joy that was set before Him Endured the cross Despised the shame Sat down at the right hand of God – His teaching (Mt. 18: 8 -9; 10: 37 -39) – His zeal (Mk. 3: 21) “Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. ”
