What is profit? As we all know, profit has several dimensions – at HP, and since the inception of the company in 1939, “profit” has always been linked to the betterment of the communities and societies where HP operates. • It is a fundamental part of HP’s strategy to make sure that our growth is sustainable and by definition sustainable growth and profit require a sustainable environment where suppliers, employees and customers can thrive. • In today’s environment, energy efficiency and reduced operating costs go hand-in-hand.
