The Health Law Certificate 17 credits n Classroom component – Minimum 6 credits – Health Care Law & Policy is required n Experiential Learning Component – Minimum 3 credits – Maximum 6 credits for externship n Writing component – Seminar paper, independent written work, health law moot court, writing competition, Journal of Health Care Law Policy Submission – Grade of B or better (when graded) – Paper can also serve as cert paper n
Health Law Externships n Identify an externship opportunity – Through list of approved externship placements – On your own § You must be supervised by an attorney § Externship must be approved by Virginia Rowthorn
