Problems 1. We have few parking lots – and unfortunately the land in the centre is taken, but building the underground system of parking is expensive and takes a long time because as you probably remember our city is on the mountains and the ground is firm here. We would be very grateful to you for your ideas and advice. 2. We need an efficient system of accommodation search for students because our hostels haven’t enough rooms for all the students from other towns. We must add that renting a flat is quite expensive not only for students as new hostels construction for unis. 3. It is not clear how local authorities distribute money – for instance, for building public places which people don’t feel any necessity in. Local authorities don’t ask the city residents what kind new buildings/services they need but just build them.
Problems 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. We have street furniture but it is easily destroyed by street vandals and it is too expensive for the city to put new ones. Sometimes benches and litter bins disappear. Can you help us? -) The problem of time spending for retired people – these people feel lonely although there are different clubs. Unfortunately retired people cannot afford to have a holiday abroad, travel a lot or sometimes even buy a computer. No clean ponds and rivers for swimming and relaxing nearby in the city and out. How to change the road cover fully without closing the roads. Not comfortable public transport stops, all of them are covered with advertisements, in some places there are no stop constructions at all. Let’s have a look at these photos.
