ISRAEL after the 1967 Six Day War Israel lost — 777 dead The death toll on the Arab side was 15, 000 Egyptians, 2, 500 Syrians, and 800 Jordanians. Israel more than tripled the size of the area it controlled, from 8, 000 to 26, 000 square miles. The victory enabled Israel to unify Jerusalem.
