Strategic Initiatives till date • Operation Flood of 70 s to augment organized dairy development ( Setting up of NDDB and beginning of cooperative movement ) • Liberalization initiatives of 90 s, augmenting the growth of Private sector. • Preparedness for global tread: - Negotiation for safeguarding domestic industry. • Augmentation of foreign investment. • Strategic alliance decision of NDDB for improved marketing in cooperative sector. • Integrated Food Law / Quality Control Mechanism for exports.
