Gen Z, Gen Y, baby boomers, traditionalists– a guide to the generations MAKING INTERVIEW WITH DIFFERENT GENERATIONS.
Baby boomers are the demographic group born during the post– World War II baby boom. There are varying definitions as to the birth years of this demographic that range from the early 1940 s to the early 1960 s. According to the Strauss–Howe generational theory, Baby Boomers are people born between 1943 and 1960.
Gen-X Generation X, sometimes abbreviated to Gen-X, is a term used to describe the people born roughly between 1960 and 1980. It is sandwiched between the Baby Boomer and Millennial generations. Stereotyped as having characteristics such as a lack of direction and cynicism, members of this group they have been influenced by a wide range of cultural and political shifts, perhaps most notably the development of various technologies.
Gen-Y Generation Y refers to the population group in the US born from somewhere around 1976 to around 2000. They are sometimes called echo boomers because some of them are the children of baby boomers. On the other hand, some Generation Y children, especially those born in the late 1980 s or afterwards, may be the grandchildren of baby boomers. Other names for this group are the Millennials, the Internet Generation, and the abbreviated Gen Y or Gen Yers.
Gen-Z Generation Z (also known as The Founders, Post. Millennials, Plurals, Ho meland Generation or the 9/11 Generation) is the demographic cohort after the Millennials. There are no precise dates for when the Gen Z cohort starts or ends; demographers and researchers typically use starting birth years that range from the mid 1990 s to early 2000 s, and as of yet there is little consensus about ending birth years.
Сonclusion? We must remember that we all grew up and formed as a personality in completely different situations. And this in most cases is the cause of quarrels with parents. Can be information on the differences in generations will help to avoid most of these quarrels.
