 Analysis of improved audit outcomes over past 5 years • • • The Analysis of improved audit outcomes over past 5 years • • • The Department started focusing on improving the audit outcome in the 2011 and detailed action plans were designed to address the audit findings The Department further had to go back to 2008/2009 and 2009/2010 financial years to clear the disclaimer of those financial years. The action plans were monitored consistently over the past few years to track progress on implementation of action plans and to ensure that corrective measures is taken. The improved audit outcome were further due is the consistent improvement of the internal control environment in the department to ensure accurate and complete financial reporting.
