When do you need a dictionary? • When you can’t tell the meaning of a word because it doesn’t look like an English word • When you can’t use the rest of the words in the sentence to guess the meaning • When you are writing and need to know the gender of a noun or check the spelling of a word • When you want to research new language on your own to say what you want to say!
