Ai. M Capital Project Planning Module(CPPM)
Construction and planning departments have traditionally relied on inefficient mechanisms—manual processes, spreadsheets and niche solutions—to meet the daily demands of their trades. These approaches are notoriously inefficient and error-prone, and they diminish transparency across the organization by creating islands of technical specialization. As construction costs grow and capital budgets shrink, organizations must be able to rely on timely, accurate and more accessible data derived from a single source.
What we needed from the new solution? • A customizable and robust system that would accommodate our reporting needs • An application that would help us manage the increasing complexity of new construction projects and capital improvements to existing facilities • Visibility into the complete pipeline of capital projects from start to finish. It is virtually impossible to make informed business decisions that serve the best interests of your organization without it! • To eliminate spreadsheets !
Ai. M Capital Planning and Project Management (CPPM) Ai. M CPPM is an owner-focused solution that helps organizations reduce cost and manage risk by providing a comprehensive, feature-rich capital planning and project management application § All data is managed in a single database § Internet-based solution accessible from any Web browser virtually anywhere § Readily integrates with legacy technology and ERP systems § Building Information Modeling (BIM) support § COBie 2 data format compliant § Seamless Facility Condition Assessment (FCA) integration § Key performance indicators (KPIs)
What can we do with CPPM ? Ai. M CPPM manages the complete project lifecycle from project inception to building decommissioning. You can confidently manage capital requests, budget requests, and capital projects (bid/contract/execution) up until the day you’re ready to turn responsibility for the building over to operations and maintenance staff. § Key capabilities of Ai. M CPPM include: § Capital Project Management § Strategic Planning and Analysis § Bid Management § Funding Source and Allocation Management § Contract and Change Order Administration § Cash Flow Management § Content Management and Process Workflow
FSU Vehicle Maintenance program Objective of program The goal is to track all FSU vehicles and to ensure they are kept in a safe, operable condition. § Vehicle recalls are addressed and recorded § Vehicles have scheduled services, inspections and repairs were needed We also want to ensure that drivers are properly licensed and trained to operate the vehicles. § Do drivers have the necessary certifications for certain vehicle types? § Have they received the appropriate training ? § Do they have a valid drivers license ?
FSU Vehicle Maintenance program continued… How are we going to do this ? We are going to leverage the existing functionality of Assetworks Ai. M to accommodate this campus wide need. § We will setup preventative maintenance schedules for all vehicles § Implement processes to ensure vehicle recalls are addressed and recorded § Automate service notifications and reminders § Generate analysis reports for departments regarding vehicle conditions, dollars spent on maintenance of the vehicles
