But what is Fire. Facts? • Fire. Facts is a fire safety learning system designed to help you develop and strengthen your relationships with your local school systems. • Designed for K through 6 grades – so definitely an elementary school tool • Will help you GO BACK to these schools for additional events to set up your booth for m. i. l. k opportunities, or even a Child Safety Day – Child ID Kits, and Home Inventory Kits, Bicycle Safety or Car Seat Safety. • Help you stay in that school, as David Sewell states, “Whenever we give to our schools it comes back ten-fold. ” 6
More than just a tool to use in schools, other opportunities include: • New Business/FFR’s • Street Fairs • Real Estate/Title Companies • Fire Department Open House • Home and Garden Shows • Day Care/Pre-Schools • Cub Scouts (Boy Scouts)/Brownies (Girl Scouts) • Social and Community Clubs • The list goes on! 7

Parent Homework – • After the rally, get the parents involved! • Have the teacher assign parent homework! • Use the flyer on the agent resource page to send home • Teacher will have to put their e-mail address on each flyer • Parents access the homework page through the CD interaction with their children! 15

Follow Up • Follow up is essential to any successful marketing endeavor. • The agent MUST follow up with the school to set up the next event, or to partner with the school at a PTA/PTO event. Set up the Farmers Pop-Up and offer our other products including m. i. l. k. , Child Safety Days, etc… • The Child Safety Day event coordinates with the Fire Department once again, and additionally with the Police Department and the Highway Patrol. It also allows the PTA to obtain memberships and sell their Spirit Ware. 17
