[defines a set of operating modes and interfaces for controlling sensors and actuators ] (I&M developed using HDL languages and following the IEEE 1451. 0 Std. ) BUT… the control of the physical space and the power infrastructure are usually forgotten and, if implemented, specific solutions are adopted ! 9

KNX Std. ); But research community is always proposing new solutions and providing several studies in this domain. So…. devices and the remote control usually adopted for smart homes + laboratory infrastructure proposed (FPGA-based boards for replacing traditional instrumentation server + I&Ms) = easy the remote control of the laboratory conditions (experiments), namely: i) control environment conditions and ii) the power consumption. 11
