2 – 5 th slide: Slides - Presentations On these slides you have to solve our tasks & present your solution! If you want to participate in EBEC’ 13 you should be as magnificent as possible!
Our requirements • Presentation shouldn't include more than 5 slides • Describe the main idea & task solving steps • Point out the advantages and disadvantages of your solution • Don't forget to include drawings, photos or other visual information of your solution
Attention!!! Our main task (70 Points): «Cheap flights» In Europe there some companies with cheap flights exist. In Russia cheap flight services just start to appear, but the prices are still high and the conditions of flights become worse. Find a solution which reduces flights prices for at least 20% and lets the companies to save good flight conditions. Maybe it will be new type of aircraft? Or new flight routes? Don't forget to corroborate your solution with calculations about expenses and payback of the new strategy! Extra task (30 Points): Find solutions to make flights safer and reduce number of victims in case of avia catastrophes
Evaluation criteria & requirements for presentation!!! Page 1 Main requirement: The presentation must be made in Microsoft Power Point (. ppt; . ppx) Main criteria: Creativity How interesting and unusual the idea is developed by teams. Idea viability The idea demand to be evaluated now.
Evaluation criteria for presentation!! Page 2 Approachability How clear the presentation is to everyman. Completeness of presentation How the team could explain the main idea. Originality How new is the idea presented by teams. Are there any analogs in the world (the more there analogs the less points you will receive).
Evaluation criteria for presentation!! Page 3 Economic expenses How expensive is the process of production and introduction of mechanism/device developed by teams. Design of presentation How complete is the formalization of presentation, how structurally has the team used Power Point (it’s requsted not to overload presentation, because it will be also estimated if the presentation looks attractive).
