Digital NOTAM Project - Strategy § A new Digital NOTAM Application (DNA) that will – Enable Digital NOTAM encoding; – Enable automatic generation, under operator control, of OPADD compliant NOTAM; – Support post-digitising of NOTAM messages received from providers that do not have Digital NOTAM capabilities; – Over the long term, replace the INO-DP subsystem l § during the transition period, INO-DP and the DNA application will be used in parallel by NOTAM operators Development / deployment – Incremental (adding functionality at each step); – Will be made available initially as “pre-operational”: l l Operators can use it at their own discretion INO-DP can still be used for creating the text NOTAM directly
