Equi. Share USA, LLC. presents… A truly unique Camp & After-Care experience! Pony. Share’s PONY GROOMING, RIDING & HORSEMANSHIP Program (“PGRH”) and PETITE EQUESTRIAN PROGRAM (aka “PEP”)
THE PGRH PROGRAM • Designed for 6 yo to 12 yo (pre-teens) • Smaller cobs and ponies easier to handle & less threatening than full -size horses • LOW camper to staff ratio of 4 - 5 kids per Pony/Counselor
THE PEP PROGRAM. Ideal for the younger 3 yo to 6 yo. Shorter (1 hr) and more playoriented than the PGRH. Moms are welcomed to interact
• 1 - Program description • 2 - Logistics, Fees and FAQ’s • 3 - What to do next…. .
1 -Program Description • First we gather the children around and teach them about SAFETY, Grooming Tools and Pony/Cob Handling
• Then the hands-on grooming session begins
• With each Session, a new lesson is introduced…
Today’s Lesson is: • BASIC ANATOMY
What is she talking about?
• The children are given velcro cards to apply to “Killer”, our PPP (Plastic Pony Prop)
• Then we start with pony riding, matching the kids with the right size ponies
• This system enables us to teach the children at their own age or proficiency level.
I am walking! I am small me too!
I am big! Me too!
experience has taught us that… younger children 3 yo to 6 yo as well as “special kids” usually have a lesser attention span & ability to focus.
So we offer them… the one hour PEP program with more GAMES and HANDSON PRACTICE in order to keep them focused and interested…
• We always start and end a Session with a short review
Who can show me the ZYGOMA? Oh !!! Me, Me!
Regardless of the Children’s age our goals remain the same: BUILD AND ENHANCE
• Team Spirit / Camaraderie • Self-Confidence • a Sense of Responsibility • as well as respect and appreciation for the animals And, because SAFETY is PARAMOUNT…. .
…our philosophy is reflected in our S. A. F. E. T. Y. acronym. . . Self-Esteem Active Engagement FUN !!! Educational Approach Team Work Y “WHY? ” i. e. : generating questions and providing answers
Hey kid, you missed a spot!
Let’s each do 1 quarter at a time
We constantly refine and enhance our Program To make it more entertaining and more interesting for the kids, whether they are first-timers or repeat participants!
Hoof picking is important too: • No hoof, no horse!
ALWAYS PICK UP ONE LEG AT A TIME!
• Proper mounting and dismounting must be learned early on
Wow, that thing is TALL!
• The Program usually culminates in a “Gymkhana Day”
• Here we are having a “Best Costume contest”
A nice tail always makes for a perfect tale!
A Star is born!
Voila!
• Jack-in-the-box is yet another favorite among our campers!
2 -Logistics & FAQ’s We can come daily to your grounds for one (or more) week(s) this summer and offer a PGRH & a PEP back to back Programs.
• If this is an After-Care or Pre School Program, we could come once/week for 6 consecutive weeks. • WE ARE, AFTER ALL, VERY FLEXIBLE!
Our rates are very reasonable considering the logistics involved. In New Jersey & Eastern PA we currently charge…. .
for the PGRH $39 per 1. 5 hour Session…. . and, for the PEP $33 per 1 hour Session…. . per Participant in the Summer 5 -day Program or in the After-Care Spring or Fall Semester Program
This translates into a low $195 (PGRH) / $165 (PEP) for a One-Week Program that will, without a doubt, become one of the highlights of the child’s summer break!
