Release 9 Changes SCR 90618 Negative Leave Balances • The credit box on Leave Data Transfer transactions may now be used to indicate negative leave balances 3
Release 9 Changes SCR 00116 ERI, Gender, and Disability changes • Employee enters changes via EPP/ESS • The current PAR row will be updated to reflect changes entered via ESS and EPIC during nightly processes 4
Release 9 Changes SCR 00116 ERI, Gender, and Disability changes • HR can use Master File Change Document to enter changes • New Field number codes for Gender and Disability codes are: Gender D 00211 Disability D 00212 • The field for ERI code is currently available for Master File Change entry 5

HR is only used to Inactivate positions in PMSO • Users must manually Inactivate positions in Empow. HR • With Release 9 changes, this field will allow users to Abolish or Inactivate positions in Empow. HR and PMSO 6
Release 9 Changes SCR 00306 History Correction Improvements • History Override Packages placed in ‘HOLD’ status will be displayed on the Worklist • The package remains on the Worklist until the HOLD status is removed 7
Release 9 Changes SCR 00306 History Correction Improvements • Update Applied Action will allow changes to the following fields: - Uniform Service Status Code Special Employment Programs Code • Update is only allowed for PARs applied in a prior pay period • NOA 006 is displayed in the NFC System • No new row is added in Empow. HR • The status of the last PAR remains PRO after the update applies • The update is noted in tracking, but does not appear in history. 8

HR • Only Authority Codes appropriate for NOA will be displayed • After 1 st Authority is selected, only appropriate 2 nd Authority Codes are displayed • Depending on the NOA/Auth combination, Legal Authorities may be generated or cited by the agency • Only agency cited descriptions will be exported to PPS • SF 50 data will print based on OPM regulations 17
