Life and career Elvis Presley was born on 8 January in 1935 and died on 16 August in 1977. He was born in Tupelo, Mississippi. However life used to be very different for this bright young star from Tupelo. He lived in small terraced house , what his father had built. It was very cramped. . In his free time he used to listen radio a lot. He was plump , because he used to eat chips and pizza. He worked as a party singer to make ends meet.
Life and career People hired him to sing at parties That is why he learnt all words from all pop song. Persuaded him to sing on radio. It was all started for him. Later he became a popular and successful singer. His smiling face appeared on the covers of international magazines and every year Elvis Presley traveled to different parts of the world to perform concerts. Later he began look very elegant in his chic designer clothes. He was constantly on a diet and went to the gym to keep his body in shape.
Life and career He was very lucky to lead the life he did later. But it is not easy , because he had not privacy life that he used to have. “Still , I had lovely family and promising career. What else could I ask for? ”– he said.
