Overview Ø Students’ schedules must be ready for instructional applications to be available on the first day of school üElectronic Gradebook üStudent Performance Indicators (SPI) üInstructional Applications such as Riverdeep and FCAT Explorer. 2

Scheduling Preparation • Schools should keep Class Size requirements in mind as new classes are being established – PK – 3 – 4– 8 18 22 • Schools not meeting Class Size in 2006 -07 must decrease by 2 or meet Class Size caps for 2007 -08 5
Scheduling Preparation • Identification of Co-teacher teams – At least one member of the team must have at least 3 years of teaching experience – At least one member of the teams must be teaching in field. – The teachers must be trained in team-teaching methods within 1 year after assignment. 6
ITS Actions Ø Future Grade Level Assigned - April 13 th - students in K, 1, 2, 4 were assigned future grade levels. Students in grade 3 will be updated with future grade and Good Cause Codes as soon as the files become available. Timelines Ø Rollover begins at 5: 00 p. m. on August 1, 2007. ISIS will be unavailable until Monday, August 6, 2007. Ø Students must be assigned homeroom sections by 5: 00 p. m. on August 1 to have Student Data and Attendance Cards sorted by alpha/grade/homeroom. Ø The Master and Student schedules may be completed before or after Rollover. Ø Student scheduling should be completed by the time teachers return for information to be available from SPI and for classes to be available in the Electronic Gradebook. 11
