Me and my profession To start with, it is necessary to mention that I am a student at one of the highly-regarded universities of Russia and I am taking a bachelor degree course in foreign philology. As far as I’m concerned, many would say that I am a multi-talented person. I am good at sports, in school years I showed a great capacity for math and physics, history was my favorite subject and I have a head foreign languages, besides I am good at creative activities, such as drawing, singing and playing the guitar. English became the most interesting part of my education and I made my choice of future profession without any hesitation. As a matter of fact, this very education provides me with many career choices and opportunities. Apparently, the most common professions of this field are teacher of English, translator and interpreter. Each occupation has its own advantages and here proficiency in English is reasonably demanded. Personally speaking, I’ve already considered the reasons why I couldn’t become a good language teacher or interpreter and why I was best suitable for translator’s vocation. Obviously, everything depends on my way of thinking and skills. When it comes to working as a teacher, a person must possess good communication skills, understand the concept of educational efficiency, include some reasonable language, activities and interactions into the learning process, have a positive effect on pupils and make them responsive to learning activities. In high school I had a chance to show my teaching skills and I managed this task, though I found it difficult to keep everything in order and increase communication and interaction with children. Moreover, there was one more problem involved – actually, I felt a bit uneasy, because my hottempered character and a habit to fly off the handle because of any inconsiderable thing could make me hurt the child’s feelings, which is improper in such a situation. Apart from what I’ve mentioned, I don’t feel strongly that I’m talented enough to become an interpreter. Many would consider my words as a lack of will power and self-determination. Things being as they are, I won’t argue this particular viewpoint. Surely, I understand that English is used for international communication and the profession of interpreter is known as one of the most highly-regarded jobs, though it is also the hardest one. Thus there is a demand for increasing communicative competence, knowledge of substantial authentic language, knowledge of country’s culture and realias, knowledge of various terminologies. This highlights the importance of constant enhanced studying and I suppose I just may fail to obtain such results. Besides, I’m not a very outgoing type of personality, but more stay-athome. Finally, I’ve made a conclusion that I’ll be a good translator. There are too many obvious reasons for that. Firstly, I’m rather keen on British and American literature, contemporary as well, so it will be an honor for me to translate some creative works of famous writers and poets. Then, there is such a proverb that ‘You live a new life for every new language you speak’ and an Italian film director Federico Fellini once said that ‘a different language is a different vision of life’ and I definitely agree with these two statements. I want to live my life to the full, to feel myself as a part of different cultures and histories, to understand the whole world, not to have one track mind, and foreign languages will help me with this. Of course, I am definitely aware of the fact that knowledge and value sets are expressed in a society’s language and literature, therefore I will try to be as competent and polite to the foreign culture as it is possible, so that I could adequately express the values and beliefs it holds. On the whole, my very career is only my business, so I must make a choice who to be. Taking my every skill and quality into account, I’ve collected my thoughts and decided to be a translator. In any case, I strongly believe that I’m destined to be a good one. When applying for a place in our university, I knew already and there was no doubt what my future profession would be. In particular, for some years I’ve been dreaming to become a translator and gave the preference for English as it sounds quite beautifully and is commonly used all over the world. Thus, at present I’m trying to achieve adequate learning in order to make the best use of my knowledge in future.

На базе гимназии: В 2008 г. посетила American Summer Retreat Camp, где прошла двухнедельное обучение с тремя волонтерами Корпуса Мира США.

В 2011 -2012 гг. посещала Debate Club в гимназии, который вела волонтер Корпуса Мира США в Украине Синтия Клейменс. В 2012 -2013 гг. принимала участие (как учащаяся) в проекте «Connecting Classrooms» под эгидой Британского Совета в Украине.

Опыт работы Место работы: Киевский ОГИС Симферопольского Городского Управления Юстиции, Территориальная избирательная комиссия. Вид работы: агитаторская деятельность. Должность: агитатор, член партии Единая Россия. Должностные обязанности: посещение будущих избирателей, проверка списков прописки граждан, уведомление избирателей о месте, дате и процессе проведения выборов, об их правах и о возможности участия в выборах с украинским паспортом при наличии прописки в Крыму, опрос избирателей их мнения о партии «Единая Россия» и их прогнозов о предстоящих выборах, предоставление агитационной информации. Сроки: 16 августа – 14 сентября 2014 года.

Место работы: Крымстат Вид работы: Акция в поддержку переписи населения в Крыму 2014 года, акция «Подари радость ребенку» , проведенные в Детском Парке. Должность: участник акции. Должностные обязанности: рассказать гражданам о целях переписи, разъяснить, каким образом будет проходить анкетирование, как необходимо себя вести при переписчике, раздавать воздушные шары с переписной атрибутикой детям Сроки: 12 октября 2014 года.

Умею работать с MS Office (Exсel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, Access), опыт работы в сети Интернет (Opera, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox).
