Introduction Edward Elgar Publishing is an international academic publisher founded in 1986 by Edward Elgar. An independent, family-run company which is now managed by Edward Elgar's (now chairman) two son-in-laws. The company is headquartered in the UK with two UK offices and a US office, in Northampton MA. We have over 5, 000 titles in print and publish over 350 new books a year. We won the Frankfurt Book Fair Academic & Professional Publisher of the Year award in 2013. International Markets We sell to libraries all over the World through local booksellers, distributors and agents. Our largest markets are the US, UK, Germany, China and Japan.
