New entries OPEL ASTRA H AIRBAG CONFIGURATION In case of replacing the airbag ECU, through this function is possible to set it in order to the installed components/options. WARNING: Please follow carefully each step shown by the tool ! After reading all the information from the old ECU, it will ask to exit the diagnostic, and with ignition OFF, the battery disconnection too ( please be sure of the internal battery charge’s level ! ). New entries RENAULT MEGANE II - Engine Management BOSCH EDC 16 - INJECTOR CODING As most of common rail systems, also this one needs to know each injector code installed in each cylinder. In case of replacing one or all the injectors, the new codes (written on the injector’s body or in the documentation delivered with) must be sent to the ECU to replace the old ones. This function allow to to that, just selecting the cylinder ID and following each step shown by the tool. Each injector’s code is 6 digits/letters. Please note: 1. Digits 0 or 9 and letters J and Q are not accepted by the ECU ( so, normally they are not present ) 2. French cars typically have the cylinder #1 placed to the GEARBOX side 3. In case of replacement of ALL injectors, you can select the option “ 1 -2 -3 -4” from the list of functions, and the tool will ask for all codes step by step automatically. New entries RENAULT MEGANE II - Engine Management BOSCH EDC 16 – F. A. P. regeneration This procedure permits to run the F. A. P. REGENERATION, and it must be used ONLY when the FAP warning lamp is ON. Please take care about it, because during the regeneration phase the exaust pipe and the FAP will reach very high temperature values. Due to that, please check for NO OCCLUSIONS in the exaust pipe and run it only with the vehicle placed on a clean pavement. WARNING: Run the regeneration function ONLY with the engine at the operating temperature ( 80°C). To be sure of it, just check the engine temp value at the LIVE DATA page. The procedure is automatic, just run it. Please mind that it could be better to check first if this is necessary; looking at the live data page is possible to see if the setup needs to be done. LAND ROVER – Engine Management DDE 4 Idle setting In case of need, the idle can be increased or decreased through this function. Please note that the idle can be changed by selecting some preset values programmed by the manufacturer in the ECU. P. pump Bleeding Through this function is possible to bleed the low pressure fuel line and refill the HP pump when replaced or because maintenance/repars. Once set, the ECU will act a strategy that will be performed at the next engine start. New entries PEUGEOT 1007 ABS/ESP MK 60 Steering wheel sensor calibration In case of dismounting/replacing parts like steering wheel or the sensor, or maintenance on the alignment, the calibration on the steering wheel sensor must be done. This function allows to do it. WARNING: Stop the car in a flat part of floor, no loads on, wheels aligned properly, then run the procedure. WHEEL SENSOR CALIBRATION CLEARING In case of need , the stored calibration can be erased. Please note that this must be done BEFORE dismounting the sensor.
