Economics and Management Institute The institute provides the multi-phase training of specialists according to two directions: Economics of Enterprise Management The graduates of the Institute who have already obtained the diploma successfully work in the industrial associations and enterprises, the scientific and design organizations of telecommunications of Ukraine. The greatest number of graduates is employed at such big enterprises as JSC Ukrtelekom, "Ukrpochta" USEP (Ukrainian State Enterprise of Posts), mobile operators of MTS, Kyivstar, Farlep, DSS, Utel, the Internet providers, and so forth. The education obtained by graduates of the Institute gives an opportunity to perform activities in other branches and organizations of all ownership forms. They are financial structures, the gas and oil complex of Ukraine, Ukrrailwaystation, security agencies, private business and many other fields of activities. A significant amount of graduates works in different bank structures. Successful students receive scholarship and grants of different enterprises and organizations. The Economics of Enterprise and Corporate Management Department A fundamental difference of economists training in the EE and CM Department takes into account the quick changing conditions of a labor market. Effective forms and education methods using the latest scientific developments in the field of economics and information technologies are developed, introduced and adapted to modern requirements of telecommunications enterprises, which follows the functional duties of specialists in telecommunications branch. The Economic Theory Department - abstractness and creative thinking; self-expression; - ability to solve working questions using basic economic knowledge as the grounds of economic thinking; - ability to analyze the financial market; ability to develop, introduce and realize marketing strategies to achieve the economic and social effect; - to define the business strategy and the basic principles of work activities in the modern market. The Project and System Analysis Management Department . This department educates in such disciplines as "Management of Competitiveness of Telecommunications Enterprises", "The System Analysis", "Optimizing Methods and models", "Econometrics", "Information Systems and Technologies", "Systems of Automation of Economic Calculations". In the course of these disciplines studying students master methodological and methodical approaches, program tools to solve administrative and optimizing tasks in economics. These disciplines provide complex task calculations of the economic efficiency assessment of different administrative and investment projects. The Head of PSAMD – Bobrovnicha N.S.

Management and Marketing Department The Management and Marketing Department educates in such disciplines as: "Logistics", "Marketing of Postal Telecommunications Services ", "Public Administration", "Management of Telecommunications Enterprises", "The Internal Economic Mechanism of the Enterprise", "E-commerce" and others. Under the conditions of crisis the head’s knowledge in management and marketing branches, search and introduction of new forms and control methods is a guaranty of enterprise competitiveness in the market as well as economics improvement in our country as a whole. Philosophy and the History of Ukraine Department The Head of PhHUD – Punchenko О. P. Philosophy and the History of Ukraine Department is one of the functional departments which is responsible for social and humanitarian training of "Economics of Enterprise" and "Management" students. This department educates in such disciplines as: “Philosophy”, “Cultural Science”, “The History of the Ukrainian Culture”, “The History of Ukraine”, “Psychology” and “Pedagogics”. These disciplines provide students with the scientific outlook and a high level of spiritual and political culture.

Students’ Life Students of SEI EM participate in competitions, parties and other events which are in O.S. Popov Academy of Telecommunications: "The Mister of the Academy", "The Academy star", "Student's winter" etc. There is a camp “Electron” of the Academy in Karolino-Bugaz.
