Environmentally Preferred Procurement (EPP) • Enactment of an Environmental Procurement Policy (EPP) directing the City to purchase; and require its consultants and contractors to use recycled materials and other environmentally preferred products whenever feasible beginning October 1, 2004. w w w. d a l l a s c i t y h a l l. c o m

Green Building Program • Adopted on January 22, 2003 — All projects over 10, 000 s. f. starting with the 2003 Bond Program will be LEED “Silver” Certified (over 20 projects by 2007) • Currently approx. 38 projects throughout the DFW area are seeking LEED Certification.
