One player is used to drive multiple signs using 3 rd party hardware and dedicated cabling. The 3 rd party vendor used in this example is Minicom. (www. minicom. com) Physical limitations restrict the distance the signal can be sent to 1000 feet using this manufacturer of equipment. Other manufacturers can reach up to 1500 feet but are more expensive in price.

Signage systems using distribution equipment are susceptible to maintenance issues and functionality limitations the player per monitor systems avoid.
