Concretely… § Print out of Diagnostic Reports through Compact Flash Users can now save print out reports in the compact flash, to print them out later using a standard PC and standard printer (removing compact flash from the tool and reading it by using a standard Memory Card Reader). Special Procedures KUGA ABS+T/C Sensors Calibration ( Yaw / Pressure / Lateral G-sensor ) This function allows the calibration of the mentioned ABS/ESP sensors, and it must be performed in case of part's replacement, like ECU, main hydraulic unit or one of these sensors. The vehicle must be stopped on a flat surface to perform it properly. COMPANY CONFIDENTIAL 34

Special Procedures KUGA ABS+T/C Brake air bleed This function allows the brake air bleed through the Hydraulic unit pump. Please follow carefully the messages shown by the tool, and don’t forget to constantly check the brake fluid in the reservoir. COMPANY CONFIDENTIAL 35

Special Procedures W 169 A-Class MAINTENANCE SYSTEM Service Reset Through this function it is possile to set back to default the maintenance intervals 0, 1 and 2. Just select the desired one to set it back to default and resetting the dashboard maintenance reminders. In case of unwanted reset, it is possible to set the reminders back to the previouse conditions by selecting “ Cancel Service Reset”. COMPANY CONFIDENTIAL 37

Special Procedures W 203 C-Class ENGINE MANAGEMENT (CDI 3) C 200 / C 220 CDI – CDI T Injectors coding (6 -digits) This function allows injector coding in case of replacement, for the CDI 3 engine mangement. Usually the new injectors are delivered with their codes, that are anyway foundable on the body of each one of them. Just select the cilynder where the new injector was placed on, and follow carefully all steps suggested by the tool. This function supports injectors with 6 -digits code. N. To do it, vehicle must be stopped with Key ON / Engine OFF. 5 different options are available, relating to the Engine Type, as per the follow: 1=Z 13 DT, Z 13 DTH 2=Z 12 XEP 3=Z 19 XEP, Z 12 XEP 4=A 17 DTR 5=Z 16 LER, Z 16 LEL Just select the correct one and confirm. Steering Wheel Sensor Calibration To perform it properly, act as per the following steps: 1) Vehicle stopped in a flat surface 2) Handbrake ( parking brake ) ON 3) Steering wheel on the middle, front wheels aligned to the vehicle 4) Any load applied on the steering wheel, and don’t touch it 5) Start the procedure To check the succesfull procedure completion , drive the vehicle on the road, and after turning the steering fully left and right, verify the central position of the steering wheel that must be correct ( +/- 20 degrees). This function must be performed at any time in case of cleaning, replacement or power fluidity / irregular idling. First of all, the stored values will be erased, then the new values acquisition will be automatically performed. The following conditions must be respected: - Key ON, Engine OFF - Battery Voltage over 11 V - Engine Temperature between 5 and 105 °C COMPANY CONFIDENTIAL 51

Special Procedures IBIZA (6 J) 09 DASHBOARD Configuration This function allows the dashboard configuration, including the Maintenance Reminder settings Options are: - WIV & SIA; each one indicates if service reminders are active or not - Maintenance expiring type; indicates if the “standard “type is active (after 15000 o 30000 Km relating to the oil type), instead of the “variable” (by following the driving style ) - Oil Level Sensor; indicates if the sensor/function is installed or not - Oil Pressure; indicates if the engine oil pressure is constanly checked by STATIC or DINAMIC mode - Radiocontrolled clock; indicates if it is installed or not - Present Oil Quality: indicates the settings relating to the STANDARD oil (service each 15000 Km) or Longlife (30000 Km) -Oil Level Sensor; sensor connected to the dash directly indicates if thermal sensor is directly connected to the dash or to another electronic unit Once run the procedure, different messages will be shown, to indicate the component status: by typing “V” the status will be changed to the other available option then stored, by typing “X” no changes will be applied.
