Diabetes Competency E-learning Platform www. cdep. org. uk
§ Seeks to reduce variation in and promote minimum standards of care provided for people living with diabetes. § Aims to provide comprehensive support, structure and recognition to a range of informal clinical problem-based learning opportunities for staff at all levels.
§ Provides ‘bite-size’ competency specific learning relevant to staff’s level and roles. § Staff who successfully complete any of the chosen topics available will achieve certification in that topic valid for 2 years. § Provides opportunity for staff to gather evidence for re-validation purposes.
