Introduction Every country has its own unique fashion associated with country`s national, historical and cultural particularities. And it is only one side of the coin. The fashion is made by designers. And now I will tell you about designers in Ukraine and abroad.

History of New York fashion week The Press Week had a success and as a result magazines like Vogue began to feature more and more American innovations. Until 1994 shows were held in different locations such as hotels or lofts.
Famous Ukrainian designers are: Mikhail Voronin, Viktoriya Gress, Olga Gromova, Liliya Pustovit, Viktor Anisimov, Olena Vorozhbit, Oksana Karavanska, Andre Tan.
Vera Wang Vera Ellen Wang was born and raised in New York City and is of Chinese descent. Wang has one younger brother, Kenneth. She graduated from The Chapin Scholl in 1967, attended the University of Paris and earned a degree in art history from Sarah Lawrence College. When she failed to make the US Olympics team, she entered the fashion industry.
Calvin Clein Calvin Richard Klein (born November 19, 1942) is an American fashion designer of Hungarian origin. In addition to clothing, Klein has also given his name to a range of perfumes, watches, and jewelry. Klein was immediately recognized for his talent after his first major showing at New York Fashion Week. Klein was hailed as the new Yves Saint-Laurent and was noted for his clean lines.

Salvatore Ferragamo was born in 1898 in Bonito, near Avellino, the eleventh of 14 children. After making his first pair of shoes at age nine, for his sisters to wear at their confirmation, young Salvatore decided that he had found his calling. After studying shoemaking in Naples for a year, Ferragamo opened a small store based in his parent's home.
Coco Chanel (August 19, 1883 – January 10, 1971)was a French fashion designer and founder of the Chanel brand. She was the only fashion designer to appear on Time magazine's list of the 100 most influenti people of the 20 th century. Her design aesthetic was realized in jewelry, handbags, and fragrance.
Mikhail Voronin Mikhail L. Voronin (in Ukrainian Михайло Львович Воронін) (Kiev, Ukrainian SSR, July 10, 1938 – April 14, 2012) was a soviet Ukrainian fashion designer and manufacturer of clothing and was a multiple winner of international competitions of tailoring skills. He was the founder of the brand "Michael Voronin". The brand name "Michael Voronin" clothing is sold internationally and the fashion house has taken part in fashion shows worldwide.
Andre Tan At the age of 11, while his friends were kicking the ball in the yard, Tan was mastering the ABC of dress-making. The history of the first collection creation will stay in the memory of Andre Tan for all his life. Later Tan won a large amount of awards, the one of them – Grand Prix in the contest « 10 x 10» - he got from the hands of Paco Rabanne.

The role of the designer in the creation of universal harmony lines based on individual rights is crucial. Beauty – it`s not a given, but a process in which every designer strives to achieve prefection
