Department of Management Studies Poornima Group of Colleges, Jaipur
The Journey…. • Poornima College of Engineering established in year 2000. Department of Management Studies started in 2006. • Poornima School of Management and Poornima Institute of Engineering & Technology established in 2007. • Poornima School of Business Management and Shanti Education Society’s Group of Institutions added to the group in 2009. Department of Management Studies, Poornima Group of Colleges conducts the MBA and other management programs for all the group institutions.
Poornima JIET Education Foundation (PJF) The Poornima Group Colleges at Jaipur and JIET Group Colleges at Jodhpur, set up by common promoters, created, in 2007 -08 an umbrella advisory organization with the name Poornima JIET Education Foundation, PJF in short, for pursuing their common objectives of creating educational infrastructure and providing quality education in the field of engineering and management. The functioning of DMS PGC, as of other Poornima and JIET group institutions is guided by the suggestions on broad policies and strategies made by the Advisory Board of PJF.

Regular Activities @ DMS PGC • Conducting the major industrial tour in 3 rd Semester to large and diversified industries. • Conducting capsule courses in Retail Management, Capital Markets, Banking Operations and International Business Management apart from regular academics. • Regular special lectures from industry representatives so as to enhance practical exposure.
Industrial Tours • 3 -day Industrial Tour (within the state) is conducted for MBA Part I students and 1 week Industrial Tour (outside the state) is conducted for MBA Part II students, providing opportunity of intensive industry interface. Visits are arranged in groups of 60 with close tie-up with industrial units of repute. • Tour experience shared by each group with all MBA students and faculty by way of power point presentations in the auditorium.

Management Development Programs • DMS PGC organizes Management Development Programs/ Workshops for meeting specific needs of sponsoring organisations, primarily Government Departments. • So far 24 such MDP’s have been organized in past one year, at various locations in Rajasthan.
Co – Curricular Activities • DMS PGC consistently focuses on all round development of students. • It includes academic, professional as well as psychological development of students. • Soft Skill Development Program on regular basis • DMS PGC is committed to provide multidimensional avenues to students for such development.
