Cherry Creek Shopping Center, also known as Cherry Creek Mall, is an upscale shopping mall about three and half miles southeast of downtown Denver, Colorado in the Cherry Creek Neighborhood. It is situated along East First Avenue on the banks of Cherry Creek Shopping Center is one of the premiere shopping destinations in Colorado. It is an enclosed shopping mall housing more than 160 specialty shops and restaurants.

Ogden Theatre The Ogden Theatre was opened in 1919 by John Thompson, who also ran the Thompson (later Bluebird) Theater. The Ogden Theatre originally hosted live performances such as weekly organ recitals, dances, lectures and vaudeville acts - most notably, the legendary Harry Houdini. By 1937 it had been converted to a movie theater that featured everything from the classics to the avant garde. In the '80's it also featured the cult movie classic, The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The inside and outside of the Ogden Theatre have been renovated many times throughout the years, as well as a host of different marquee signs have been used. The current sign on the front of theater has been in place since 1993.
Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception (Denver) Construction of the cathedral started in 1902 and completed in 1911 with a final cost of approximately $500, 000. The inaugural Mass was held on October 27, 1912, and consecration was in 1921. On August 7, 1912, lightning struck the west tower causing damage to the upper 25 feet (7. 6 m), however this was repaired before the opening. The cathedral was raised to the status of minor basilica on Christmas 1979. On August 13 and 14 1993 (for World Youth Day), Pope John Paul II celebrated Mass at the cathedral- one of only a few cathedrals in the United States so honored. In June 1997, lightning struck a second time, but this time damaged the east tower. The parish completed work to restore the tower within eight months.
Denver Zoo The Denver Zoo is an 80 -acre (32 ha) facility located in City Park of Denver, Colorado, United States. Founded in 1896, it is owned by the City and County of Denver and funded in part by the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District(SCFD). It was the most popular paid attraction in the Denver metropolitan area in 2005. [ The Denver Zoo was started with the donation of an orphaned American black bear. With the construction of Bear Mountain, it became the first zoo in the United States to use naturalistic zoo enclosures rather than cages with bars. [7]It expanded on this concept with Primate Panorama, featuring huge mesh tents and open areas for apes and monkeys, and with Predator Ridge, which has three separate areas through which animals are rotated so that their overlapping scents provide environmental enrichment. Toyota Elephant Passage, which opened on June 1, 2012, is divided into five areas for rotating the various species.
