Objectives Ø Provide access to informational resources and most requested data through the CEP Web Site http: //www. caspianenvironment. org Ø Develop a regional mechanism and guidelines for data and information exchange. Ø Develop/install the effective IT tools for internal project data and information management Ø Collect, check and load into the corresponding databases the relevant data and information Ø Keep the project data and information up-to-date

Main Challenges • Low level of data exchange and sharing in the region • Available data are hardly accessible or still remain on paper • Access to data of Oil & Gas companies is limited • Poor development of IT infrastructure in coastal areas • Absence of legal regional mechanisms and protocols for data and information exchange
