Data Driven Business Development Module Control Work
A - Business to business improve their B 2 B service by including external and internal data. What kind of data from which sources could be relevant? How could these data improve or expand the service? B - Business to consumer build a B 2 C business model based on the same idea of effiency. What would be the value proposition? What data should be involved?
Research and analysis • Desktop research - Industry, competitors, applications … – Be sure to get insights on relevant issues • A description of the existing BM, inclusive a BMC in details – Be sure to understand how Wuxus do business • A general description of the data involved (Light – Close) • A short description of 1 -2 -3 relevant forces (environment) – Be sure to understand the actual environment • 1 -2 -3 interviews with hauliers / potential customers / potential partners + a survey – Be sure to get inspiration + insights into Pains + to verify your hypotheses
Concept 1) A description of the hypotheses which work as the basic for your solution 2) A description of the dark data which you propose to make light 3) A visualization of which data to be shared with customers and/or partners or even sold to external organizations 4) A BMC in details showing the adjusted or new business model 5) A VP chart showing jobs/pain/gain product&service/relievers/creators 6) A storyboard 7) A dashboard showing the visualization of relevant KPIs - seen from Wuxus and customers pov 8) A Q&D test + considerations on Proof of Concept, inclusive a plan for a test: How to test what with whom? 9) A list of shortcomings + issues to investigate (evaluation)
Project Management • Contract including principles and rules in relation to the teamwork • Agile project management - define yourself how SCRUM should be implemented and argue for your choices • Include at least 3 sprints, each of them to be documented in product and sprint backlog • A burn down chart should be included and updated according to your sprint period • Improvement of process should be documented after each sprint • Use Trello or similar tool for documentation • Evaluate the chosen tool as for its capability of transparency (team and stakeholders) • Finally, evaluate your use of scrum in the light of 2 -3 selected principles, see Essential Scrum, fig. 3. 2
