His friend Friday Young savage whom Crusoe rescued from cannibals. He didn’t know English. Friday became Crusoe's servant (in gratitude). He was willing to trust his future to Crusoe. He came from a culture that was not very developed. Friday accompanies Crusoe home to England. They saved Friday's father. Crusoe studied him.
