AGENT VERSUS AUTHORITY • Important to know and understand the legal differences • Authority AGENT VERSUS AUTHORITY • Important to know and understand the legal differences • Authority – Individual cited as or appealed to as an expert (Webster’s) • Agent – One who is authorized for or in place of another (Webster’s) • What this means is that an agent does not work for the client but actually becomes the client.
