Attendance • When your child leaves early or is absent, please send in a written excuse or email. Try to limit absences and early dismissals as much as possible. When a student is absent or leaves early, he/she is expected to complete all work missed due to absences so that he/she does not fall behind. • If you are going out of town, you must notify your child’s teacher in writing in advance. The trip will not be marked as excused unless prior approval is given from Mrs. Lemons, Principal. • Any student not in his/her classroom by the 7: 40 bell will be marked tardy. This includes students who are loitering in the halls.

Visitors • We LOVE our volunteers, please remember you need to complete the training 48 hours BEFORE you volunteer at our school. Before you volunteer at New Prospect Elementary School, please see the new information below this gives you step by step instructions on how to fill out your new volunteer forms. After you fill out the form, it takes 48 hours to process. This is a once-a-year process. All volunteers must complete this to be allowed into the classrooms, science labs, Watchdog programs, etc. The new automated process has been placed on the districts webpage www. fultonschools. org. Volunteers may now register by clicking on "Community" and "Partners and Volunteers".
