Culture for Change Goals Overall goal Development of confident and tolerant young citizens able to stand-up for what they believe, and express themselves in a variety of media Youth Development: youth voice, self expression, selfdiscovery, leadership Artistic Expression: High standard of artistic quality Social Change: Citizens who able to understand-up for what they believe

Assumptions • Improvement of teaching and mentoring skills • Enhancement and reinforcement of OST programs • Youth find their own voices and become empowered and engaged in their communities • Youth express themselves creatively with age appropriate activities • Youth experience in-depth and varied artistic opportunities • Youth create art that reflects upon real issues in the city, country, and world • Teams utilize skills and collaborative opportunities to explore/promote social change concepts
