Site Definition • A site is a geographical location (footprint) that contains environmental activities or features that CT DEEP has an interest. • Environmental Interest examples: NPDES Application, Title-V Permit, Consent Order, etc. • Feature: Dam, Boardwalk, Stack, Outfall, etc.

Site Maintenance Search Results – Add New

Site – ADD NEW User cannot SAVE until a VERIFY ADDRESS is executed once. VERIFY ADDRESS uses a USPS WEB Service to Clean the Address

Site – Duplicate If the site entered (address & town) is in SIMS, that site is displayed. A message tells the user what to do and who to contact if needed.

Site – Error Message …also, the message indicates the Site Rules

VERIFY Address The VERIFY ADDRESS button cleaned the street, zip and added the lat/long, prior to searching SIMS for a Duplicate

SITE – Add NEW If the Site is not in SIMS, the SAVE button is enabled.

The Site is now associated to the NPDES application
