CRT stand a proposal (backup option) • A well-designed CRT stand o Quite important for CRT. I totally agree. No objections. . . • Reviews and beam tests in the near future o Assembly space and “test bench” in the tent to be prepared @ the beginning of Sept…. • Tight construction schedule o Very tight to fix the design & to construct it @ KEK Fuji B 4 by the middle of August o It seems that we don’t have enough materials / parts for CRT stand yet… • A proposal / backup option o Very temporary CRT setup (only for data taking this summer) only if well-designed CRT stand is not ready. o Arrangement : ~1 week, Construction: ~1 week, Assembly: ~2 week ~1 month o The setup to be disassembled ASAP when the well-designed stand is ready 12 th B 2 GM 2012/7/23 11

Summary • TOP assembly room & preparation / test area are ready. o Enough cleanliness level in the Panel house easily achieved if users perform proper maintenance work regularly. o Tent for TOP preparation / test constructed. o Let’s (re)start QBB / electronics / Cosmic-ray test @ KEK Fuji. • CRT preparation on going o Counters / Trackers for the CRT under preparation @ KEK and Nagoya o Some iron / concrete blocks also reserved in May • Pb blocks not found yet (What size is the block? ) o CRT setup: A backup option proposed • One of the simplest CRT setups (only for data taking this summer) • Fast & easy construction is a key point due to the tight schedule. 12 th B 2 GM 2012/7/23 13
