The Scheduling Process l l l Students received course selection information in Advisory on Wednesday, January 23 rd The course catalog is available online www. appohigh. org Counselors will meet with each student through English & Social Studies classes starting January 31 st. Students should bring their completed course selection sheets and questions to their meeting with their counselor.

The Scheduling Process l l l Parents/Guardians and students will begin to view their child’s course selections in the Home Access Center Students will receive a copy of their course request in homeroom/1 st period on March 11 th Students will have until March 18 th to make changes to their course request

Course Level Offerings l College Preparatory Courses (CP) – l Honors Courses – l 9 th – 12 th grade Advanced Placement (AP) – l 9 th - 12 th grade 10 th-12 th grade Dual Enrollment – 12 th grade

Advanced Placement l l l Designed to challenge students who demonstrate a consistent record of outstanding achievement Students may earn advanced standing and/or college credit as determined by the institution for which you are seeking admission AP course offerings are listed on the 11 th & 12 th grade course selection sheets

Dual Enrollment l l l Seniors may elect to take approved college level courses for both high school and college credit Courses are offered through the University of Delaware and Delaware Technical & Community College Dual Enrollment course offerings are listed on the 12 th grade course selection sheet

AP Information Night l l There will be presentation on February 13 th from 6: 00 to 7: 30 to learn more about the AP program at AHS. All students & families are welcome to attend Based on PSAT Performance, letters will be mailed home to some students about AP Potential. Students can view their AP Potential in My College Quick Start
