What are we doing there? Ø Ø Ø Ø Ø Exploring San Jose’s capital and cultural center Visiting INBioparque to learn about: biological diversity by getting an up close and personal look at frogs, butterflies, 100 s of species of hummingbirds Walk through 3 different ecosystem trails. Explore a lagoon. Going to the top of Poas Volcano to see one of the largest craters in the world along with lakes that change color. Visiting the hot springs La Fortuna Waterfall Kayaking on Lake Arenal to see beautiful mountains, windmills and wildlife Visiting Monteverde – to learn about and see a reserve with much historical significance. – (Optional Horseback) Walking through Cloud Forest – a special type of rain forest with 6 ecological zones and a wide range of spectacular flora and fauna. We will be planting trees here as well. Going on a canopy tour – We will be exploring special trails, suspension bridges, and zip lines to see the rainforest from an amazing angle.
