CMAS – Definition of Program n Created in 1994 n Legal Authority PCC Sections 10290 et seq. and Section 12101. 5 n Administrated by DGS, Procurement Division 15
CMAS – How Contracts are Developed (1) n No competitive solicitations done by CMAS to establish contracts n Federal GSA’s or other multiple award contracts used as base contracts n CMAS suppliers are: GSA (base) contract holders (such as IBM) n Piggy backers (such as Compu. Com) n 16
CMAS – How Contracts are Developed (2) n Established using terms and conditions, products, services and prices from existing multiple award, competitively bid or cost compared contracts. 17
