The origin of this term Robertson R. Globalization: Social Theory and Global Culture. 1983 - The article of Robertson, titled “Globality”, was published. 1985 - Robertson provided insight into the essence of the global process.
Globalization is the process of extending social relations across world-space. Such extensions arise from the movements of people, things and ideas. It cannot be defined in terms of internationalization or integration as some theorists have suggested. Globalization describes the interplay across cultures of macro -social forces. These forces include religion, politics, and economics.
American experts think, that the modern world is going to transform into “a global village” now. There is a new phenomenon of our century, called- integrity.

Antiglobalism Problems of globalization: 1) Economics: exhaustion of the soil and natural resources, activity of transnational corporations, aimed at the development of the global market; 2) The cult of consumerism, destroying humane values; rapid expansion of Western traditions and culture , destruction of native culture; The gap between the richest and the poorest countries is increasing. The richest countries are getting richer and richer, but the poorest aren’t able to live in normal conditions. 3)
Global democracy Democratic globalization is a movement towards an institutional system of global democracy. One of its most prolific proponents is the British political thinker David Held. Advocates of democratic globalization argue that economic expansion and development should be the first phase of democratic globalization, which is to be followed by a phase of building global political institutions
