The technical progress makes our life more comfortable. We have cars, TV, electric and electronic things, iphones, and many other things.

We also have supermarkets, clothes shops, shoe shops, book shops, hair salons, florist’s and other places to buy things. We are buying things and food every day.

Now we have a consumer society. But the question is: live to buy or buy to live?

Of course, it is easy to cook different dishes with help of the food processor or crockpot. Using such things you have more free time.

But I think it is not a reason to spend last money to buy such things. We can cook tasty dishes with knifes and pots.

People produce many things nowadays. Sometimes people don’t understand that they have enough things. So, they are buying things one by one. They are looking for sales.

Also people are looking for a new models of things. For example, my friend Arsenyi is changing iphones every year. He is looking for and waiting new models. He says that it is hobby. But I think that it is a very strange hobby.

Last time it is very popular to make “Black Friday”, when a lot of people are waiting for the opening time in front of the shop, then running and buying something. They are nervous and aggressive. This tradition came from the USA.

I think that it is not good modern tradition. It shows us that people became the victims of the direct marketing ore advertisement. Many people get credits to buy something.

If we have a lot of things, we have to solve the problem with garbage. It is very important but not easy to do.
