Construction of Rehabilitation and Welfare Centre - House of the Malwa Foundation (Hollyhock Foundation) History of the Malwa Foundation The Malwa Foundation was established in 1992 by parents of children with intellectual disabilities. The main objective of the Foundation is construction of the Rehabilitation and Welfare Centre. The disabled people require special forms of assistance and care during their whole life. Next, tiles and terracotta will be laid in bathrooms on the second floor, as well as stoneware in halls and floor wooden panels in rooms. We hope w could start doing fit-out works on a ground floor and in a basement in June this year after awarding a positive decision regarding our aplication from the Masovian Social Assistance Warsaw. We plan to finish construction of the house in 2016. All operational activities, including work of the Foundation Board, are done socially, and other activities are based on voluntary work. For this reason, donations are used for the construction of the house. 4

On this way the Centre will provide its residents with a sense of dignity and usefulness. Thw therapeutic workshops will be available for residents as well as for people from the outside. 6

There are many possibilities to support the Foundation : VOLUNTARY WORK By participating in specific construction works in the house like e. g. cooperation of the Centre with the volunteers of Habitat for Humanity Pol and FINANCING OR CO- FINANCING Purchase of specific devices needed for the Foundation’s House , e. g. purchase of an elevator by Mr. Maciej Radziwiłł Support of many activities by co-financing, e. g. by the company Krevox ECE Sp. z o. o. ORGANISATIONAL ASSISTANCE Organisation of different events, e. g. theatre meetings, entertainment, picnics. Its gate money will support the construction and activity of the Centre.
