Integrated Hotel SOURCE Availability • Released in May 2000 as an industry exclusive product • First to market functionality which provides true hotel availability on the first screen. It allows a hotel availability indicator to be returned directly from your system and placed into the existing Hotel List (HL) display • Current customers: Marriott, Starwood Properties, Intercontinental Hotels Group, Trust International, Supranational, Carlson brands, Top International, Universal Orlando Hotel, Sercotel, Gaylord Entertainment • Planned for 2004 implementation: 5 additional brand entities and service providers
Integrated Hotel SOURCE Availability • Features: – Obtains real-time availability directly from your internal reservation system – Returns an availability status code on the first screen of the hotel booking process • A = Available for sale (at least one room type is available based on what is specified in the request • C = Closed out (no availability • O = Rate plan other than what was specified in the request is available • R = On request – Availability status placed in a column within the Hotel List display • Benefits: – Delivers immediate and accurate availability information to travel agent – Increased bookings and revenue delivered to you – Improved product perception by travel agent

Integrated Hotel SOURCE Rate Range • Released in February 2001 as an industry exclusive product • First to market functionality which allows you as a participant in Integrated Hotel Source Availability to return a rate range for the Hotel List (HL) display. The rate range that is returned is based on the rates in your internal reservation system • Current customers: Marriott, Starwood Properties, Intercontinental Hotels Group, Trust International, Supranational, Carlson brands, Top International, Universal Orlando Hotel, Sercotel, Gaylord Entertainment • Planned for 2004 implementation: 5 additional brand entities and service providers
Integrated Hotel SOURCE Rate Range • Features: – Allows you to return a rate range based on rates in your internal reservation system – An asterisk (*) preceding the rate range indicated that the rate range is received directly from your system – The Hotel List (HL) displays rates when the /RR option is include based on information stored in your internal system and from rates within Hotel Select for non-participants • Benefits: – Increases product integrity and improves travel agency product perception – Obtains Rate Range directly from your system – Provides a “shoppers” display

Delivering Your Properties • Integrated Hotel Source Rate Range • Line 1 shows an integrated availability indicator and a rate range directly from Courtyard by Marriott. • Line 2 shows no availability indicator and a rate range from Hotel Select for an Integrated Rate Range participant. This could occur if either the availability indicator or the rate range was invalid, and Worldspan had to default to Hotel Select for the rate range. • Line 3 shows a non-integrated participant. No availability indicator and the rate range is taken from Hotel Select. • Line 4 shows an integrated participant that either does not participate in rate range or the rate range data was invalid and Worldspan had to default to Hotel Select for the rate range. In either case, there is no asterisk to indicate that the rate range was received directly from the associate.
