Installation of an operating system OS installation – files of an operating system are copied from a distribution kit disk on a hard disk of the computer. Files of an operating system are stored in longterm memory on a hard disk which is called as system. The operating system, as well as other programs, can be carried out, if it is in random access memory of the computer.
